Your First Consultation – the beginning of In Focus’s unique 3-step process to supporting you with achieving and maintaining your health goals
Step 1 – Assessing your current state of health
On your first visit to In Focus healing and wellness clinic, your healthcare practitioner will go over your New Client Intake Forms with you to begin to get an overall picture of where you are now with your current state of health. This begins Step 1 of In Focus’s unique 3-step process. Your healthcare practitioner may also suggest other assessments that may be required, based on your current state of health.
Step 2 – Creating your customised healing and wellness plan
Once you and your health care practitioner discuss your current state of health, the next step is creating your customised healing and wellness plan. This begins Step 2 of In Focus’s unique 3-step process.
Together, you will determine your priority approaches relevant to your needs, which may include using the following:
- traditional Chinese medicine
- herbal and nutritional medicine
- FlameTree: the personal development & healing system
- frequency therapy using Healy and Guardian
- establishing your food intake framework
- relaxation techniques
- cupping, gua sha (myofascial scraping) or remedial massage
- dry needling
- essence acupunture using the pro·m·emo Essences
- universal emotional freedom technique (UEFT)
- health promotion.
Depending on your current state of health, you may also receive one of the above approaches or the approach you had requested, at your initial consultation.
Finalising your initial consultation
Your health care practitioner will review Steps 1 and 2 with you and will then schedule you for your second visit.
At this point, your health care practitioner will discuss with you the various In Focus wellness package options unique to your current state of health. This begins Step 3 of In Focus’s unique 3-step process where you action your healing and wellness plan by meeting regularly with your health care practitioner over the next 4 to 12 weeks using the approaches discussed with your health care practitioner.
Once you have established Step 3 , your health care practitioner can then determine when to review and assess your progress to ensure you are reaching your health goals. This is generally reviewed weekly and assessed every four weeks.
How long will I be in the clinic?
If you complete all your New Client Intake Forms prior to your consultation, you will be in the clinic for around 90 minutes. If, however, you were unable to complete the New Client Intake Forms , we kindly request that on your first visit to the clinic that you come along a half hour early to complete these forms.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
This will be discussed between you and your health care practitioner based on the current state of your health. This begins Step 3 of In Focus’s unique 3-step process where you action your healing and wellness plan by meeting regularly with your health care practitioner.
Generally, most people notice changes within two to four visits. Some people notice a difference after the first visit. However, some people do take longer, especially if it is a long-standing problem.
In Focus healing and wellness clinic aims to empower you with knowledge and information. By doing so, you will have the tools that you can use to support yourself in achieving and maintaining being the best possible version of youself so that you may reach your optimum potential and live your life of purpose.
Depending on Steps 1 and 2, your Step 3 – actioning your healing and wellness plan by meeting regularly with your health care practitioner, may require up to 12 weeks.
